Uncomfortable Turned to Courage!

June 16, 2020

Word of the day: 19 When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. Psalm 94:19 NLT

Meditation: What doubts and fears you have? Think this out and allow yourself to realize your doubts and fears. Then give it to the Lord to help you overcome.

Discussion Board: Doubts and fears are there, no doubt about it. Trying to resolve it is making it worse. Understanding you have these fears and doubts does help for the next steps. Give it to God. The one thing God will do is continue to test you on your doubts and fear until you pass. It is okay to fail, but it is not okay to try to attempt the test. Mark 9:24 reminds us to help us with our doubts. Believe in yourself to discover the root cause of your doubts and fears, then give it to the Lord so he can work on it.

Takeaway: We can’t be successful without getting out of your comfort zone. Your comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing never grows there. Your uncomfortable position to attack your doubts and fears will allow you to develop.

Prayer: A lot of us may not have the courage to work on our fears and doubts. Let us recognize our hurt and understand that you are the healer and help with our issues. Thank you for believing in us when we don’t believe in ourselves. In Jesus’ name. Amen!

My name is Darren. I started sharing devotions in June 2019. As one of the ministry leaders at my church. One reason why I started devotions is because of the lack of inspiration and motivation in our lives. It is hard to be encouraged with a lot of negativity going around. I invite you to be encouraged by the word of God. Our struggles can be personal, at the workplace, and the lack of community in our lives. When we go through hard times, we need the word of God. Please read them and be encouraged. I also started a podcast talking about racism and discrimination. Please take a moment to check that out as well. Afternoon Coffee Break with Darren Watts.
