Word of the day: 6-8 Peter said, “I don’t have a nickel to my name, but what I do have, I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!” He grabbed him by the right hand and pulled him up. In an instant, his feet and ankles became firm. He jumped to his feet and walked. Acts 3:6-8 MSG
Meditation: Think about the help you gave lately. How do you continue to help? Give God praise and glory.
Discussion Board: In the name of Jesus means by the authority of Jesus Christ. When Peter said this, gave him the power to heal a man that was begging. This blessing Peter did is not on his own but through the Holy Spirit. Peter also knew that the beggar was looking for a handout. He was jumping for joy and praising God for what Peter did, giving the beggar his ability to walk again. You can do that, maybe not physically, but mentally. Someone may be drained and tired and don’t want to live life, but you give them joy by a random act of kindness. When God gives you the ability to bless someone, remember to thanks those around you and God for allowing you his sincere heart and security.
Prayer: Father, I pray we never take things for granted. Over the years, there are times we can take granted things that we should be praising you. I pray with your wisdom that we can always remember to give you praise and others that help us with excellent results. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
