Good or Bad Karma

July 3, 2020

Word of the day: 37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be convicted. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Luke 6:37 NIV

Discussion Board: It’s time to be real. I had moments of judging people. It’s human nature to do that. I am the type of person that likes to judge based on history repeating itself. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. It is easy to judge someone. It is hard to understand the situation you are judging. Being kind to someone in a problem you can’t understand shows the love for them. For me, I have to be conscious. It takes that type of effort to understand and not have a hardened heart.  When I am judging, I receive criticism. We love those instead of judging. Today’s verse in my terms is saying karma will come back to you. Judge, you will not be judged. Do not condemn; you will not be convicted. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. If you flip the scenario, karma will come back instead; good karma or bad karma.

Prayer: Father, we all give our hearts to you. I pray we can be humble when it presents itself. Help to keep our balance and to seek you every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen!

My name is Darren. I started sharing devotions in June 2019. As one of the ministry leaders at my church. One reason why I started devotions is because of the lack of inspiration and motivation in our lives. It is hard to be encouraged with a lot of negativity going around. I invite you to be encouraged by the word of God. Our struggles can be personal, at the workplace, and the lack of community in our lives. When we go through hard times, we need the word of God. Please read them and be encouraged. I also started a podcast talking about racism and discrimination. Please take a moment to check that out as well. Afternoon Coffee Break with Darren Watts.
