Word of the day: 8 and David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?” “Pursue them,” he answered. “You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue. 1 Samuel 30:8 NIV

Reflect: How many times you stumble on something you can’t answer? But you need God’s answer right away. How do you learn patience while waiting for his excellent timing?

Discussion Board: David asked God a question he couldn’t answer. God gave him the answer he needed. Its the timing we seem to forget. God is in spirit. It’s not a direct human to human question and answer segment you can get answers right away. But, it can be through human to human that God can speak through others. I always heard from a wise man, your situations and solutions can come in miles, not minutes, and vise versa, which is still good to stick by your friends that are always willing to be truthful. When deep thoughts and companions arise in relationships, always stay true to it. It marks true friendship. These friends can be your source for staying close to God.

Takeaway: We don’t always hear from God because it is not the right time to understand. We will hear from him when the time is right. When we don’t have the answers, God has friends that you can always stick to for answers. What are your takeaways?

Prayer: Father, thanks to our friends today. They dare to stay close to you when most people don’t want to because they are afraid of commitment. I pray that we can have the patience for you when answering our troubles. Thank you for our fellowship. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
