Word of the day: 7 There you and your families will feast in the presence of the Lord your God, and you will rejoice in all you have accomplished because the Lord your God has blessed you. Deuteronomy 12:7 NLT
Leadoff question of the day; Who loves to party? When I think of the word party, I think of lots of people, extroverts, noise, food, social interactions. That scares me to death. My idea of a party is a cup of coffee or tea, wrapped up with covers doing the following; listening to music, eating, watching gameplay, playing the video game, sleeping, or reading. That is my idea of a party. Oh, I forgot to mention that I do these things alone or with my brother. What is the view of a party for you? I would love to hear from you what is your idea of a party. In today’s verse, God wants us to celebrate our accomplishments. We should always include him in our parties. Everybody has ways to party, but the question is, do it include God and all the blessings he has done for you? Today, take time to think about when you have a party, did it include him. Today is Friday, and this is one of the day’s most people party, besides Saturday. Take time to thank him today for all he did for you.
Father, thank you for today and the devotion. Party is a lot of fun for all of us, and we have different ways of partying. End of a workday, some people go deep and significant by planning big parties. I pray that today’s devotion is more of a fun one; I pray it is spreading the message to make sure to thank you for all you did for us. Thank you for your love. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
